The Chain, One Link at a Time

1. The roof concentrates the water

Every square foot of roof drains to an edge. A roof with no gutter delivers all of it in a line along the drip edge, straight down onto the ground within a foot or two of the wall.

2. The soil under Sugar Land is expansive clay
